Windshields are under stress when in the vehicle. You just can't duplicate that on a stand. Sometimes the damage will expand while you are working on it. Wouldn't you like to have an expert looking over your shoulder telling you how to deal with this situation during training, not when you get home and are working on an expensive windshield with the customer freaking out right in front of you? I guarantee this will happen while you are here during your training. This is only one example of why training is so important.
